College ID camps are a great opportunity to be recruited by college coaches from schools you're interested in. You will probably receive many invites to college ID camps throughout your recruiting process, however, it's important to know which ones are worth attending.
Selecting appropriate ID Camps is crucial in maximizing your recruiting opportunity, and a great way to visit campuses, meet coaches, and get a feel for the university. I always advise student-athletes to attend the smaller ID camps, the one's that are hosted by University's; not companies who have over 500 athletes in attendance and cost 5x as much as a University ID camp.
Attending ID Camps early-on is important to gain experience and get a feel for how they operate. Additionally, college coaches will be able to evaluate you with the other players they're recruiting. You should attend more ID camps each year throughout high school, and select the ones that are on the top of your college list.
